Minnesota City Buy Foreclosed Homes for Sale

The city of Princeton in Minnesota has so far purchased two foreclosed homes for sale under its program which aims to rehabilitate distressed properties to prevent them from becoming blights to neighborhoods.

Bank Foreclosed Home Listings in Illinois Rising

Recent market data showed that about 14 percent of home loans in Illinois are delinquent in the second quarter of this year. This means that the number of homeowners who are facing the risk of seeing their properties placed on bank foreclosed home listings rose by 9 percent compared with the same period last year.

New Hampshire Foreclosed Homes Listings at Risk of Growing

The number of New Hampshire homeowners who defaulted on their mortgage loans increased from April to June this year. This means that many properties are at risk of being placed on foreclosed homes listings before the end of this year.

Massachusetts Foreclosed Homes List Up in July

Foreclosure activity in Massachusetts rose by 9 percent in July compared with previous month.But market data showed that July’s foreclosure rate declined by 38 percent compared with the same month a year ago.

Florida’s population posted a decline not seen since 1946 following the World War II. According to market data, the state’s population dropped by 58,000 in 2008, the first time since a great number of military personnel moved out of the state 63 years.

Foreclosed Home List Continue to Rise in Nevada

Lyon County is one of the areas in Nevada hardest hit by the foreclosure crisis. The foreclosed home list in the county rose last month, contributing to the state’s high foreclosure rate which earned it the top spot in the country.

Foreclosure Listings Up, Home Price Drop in Tennessee

July saw increases in foreclosure listings nationwide and statewide. In Sullivan County, Tennessee, there were 202 bank foreclosures and 18 properties for trustee sales last month. Also, the county posted a 2.78 percent rise in the number of foreclosure properties sold in May.

Foreclosure Lists Continue to Grow in Tri-State Area
